I think he started to track the number of sold tickets, once Tony Khan said that they sold x amount of tickets. Then he probably added all tickets on to that number, that were distributed from that point forward. Other than that i think here is also a misunderstanding of the record for paid attendance and sold tickets. The paid attendance record by WM 32 is 80.709 tickets, as that's the number of people going through the gates according to the police departement. But that doesn't mean it equals the number of actually sold tickets. Comps are also within that number. We just don't know how many. We just know that Wrestlenomics predicts an average of 79.800 sold tickets. But that's an average based on the financial report and not the actual number. So the actual number could be higher or lower, but we'll never know. I guess we could assume that number for the discussion, but we need to be aware of the fact, that we can't be 100% sure that this number is the actual number of sold tickets. That's why in my mind if we discuss the biggest wrestling shows in history by paid attendance, we can safely discuss the number of paid attendance of 80.709 which included comps. So All In is 3.780 distributed tickets away of that number. We can't say to 100%, that All In is 8.272 sold tickets (or 9.400 if we take the numbers from WON) away of beating the WM 32 number of sold tickets, due to Wrestlenomics prediction based on an average. We need to be aware of the difference, if we discuss it. In the end i think All In can beat the paid attendance record of 80.709, but that doesn't necessarily mean, that they can beat that average number of sold tickets according to Wrestlenomics for WM 32 of 79.800. Knowing some of the tribalism that is going on in the wrestling community, especially on social media, i think there will be discussions to either side and both have strong arguments going for them. But the fact alone, that we're already able to talk about AEW having a realistically shot at beating that paid attendance record of 80.709 tickets, is mindboggling to me. Nobody can take that away from them. So it's all cool to talk about records and stuff, but whether they beat the paid attendance record or not, or whether they might also beat that record of sold tickets or not, doesn't actually matter, as All In is already in an atmosphere, where it's going to be recognised either way as one of the biggest wrestling shows of all time.
