The Mortal Kombat film theme because even if you were not familiar with the game it gives you the introduction to the character names and the logo gives the fantasy element an atmosphere to set in a action franchise.

Novelists and Bloks short film/song, No Weapons was really profound given he's lived that life and seen all sorts of things growing up in South London. So him using his experience to convey in film and song the detrimental impact of knife and gun crimes in London and the U.K as a whole delivers a really nice message.

I really like the score from 1917, and for a smaller film I love the percussion score from Thoroughbreds

Ennio Morricone - Once Upon A Time In The West. Such a beautiful score that moves me to tears, Edda Dell'Orso's voice is out of this world. The Grand Massacre composition is one of my favourites. Perfect combination with amazing cinematography. R.I.P. Maestro.

Really hard to say, but if I had to choose I would go with Nino Rota's score for The Godfather. On an emotional level, it perfectly captures the sense of loss through the passing of one generation to the next as well as foreboding the tragic circumstances that will befall many of the characters.

Trainspotting, it introduced me to the music of Lou Reed and Iggy Pop.

Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's My Fair Lady. The way the music is used to introduce several scenes, the way it's used to introduce and explore the personalities of the characters, the fact that the instrumentation is so beautiful. The Ascot Opening Race and the Royal Ball are pure poetry largely because of the music. Also, if I could pick any song in the world to sing to a girl to woo her, it'd be On the Street Where You Live.
