Yes, you're right but season 8 was the worst. Final of the show and this is what they came up with? Seasons 5-7 had issues however they had some strong episodes, in S8 there was none.

"Dany kind of forgot about the iron fleet" and this is just one of many examples of their creativity. Doing similar with Star Wars? Not in this lifetime.

2020-09-02 20:03:11 +0000 UTCI believe they were canned by Lucasfilm for all the vitriol they were getting from s8 GoT, if Lucasfilm needs anything right now it's less hate.

2020-09-02 19:53:20 +0000 UTCI havenβt read the books theyβre adapting, but they only really faltered with GOT once they got past the books. Maybe with a firm path laid out they can do well with the world building and big set pieces.

Pissing off Game of Thrones fans is one thing, but potentially pissing off Star Wars fans is whole other animal. If I were them I'd want to do something that doesn't have a huge fan base behind it already.
