Q&A, Coxcon and NEXT SERIES REVEAL OMG

Linked above is the unlisted-for-now Patreon Q&A we held on the livestream on Wednesday!

So the news is out, I'm going to be at Coxcon to meeting fans and all that jazz.

Excuse me one second.

...

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

...

OK, now that's out of my system I'm actually quite excited. Jesse is a great guy and I'm glad my first con will be a smaller one. I'm not sure what I'll be doing there but I'll let you know in time.

If it comes up I'll be interested to see how I am in front of a crowd. I've literally never been in front of one aside from School plays. I might unleash 60 mins of pitch-perfect comedy or I may vomit, cry and run off stage. Probably somewhere in between.

You should come along. You know, if you want. No pressure.

-Dan

PS. Oh... and as for the next completes series?

Well... It's a permadeath.

We're gonna go survive on an island.

A very special island.

An ARK if you will...

OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR HIM TO COME BACK TO ARK FUCK YES

Natalie Schmidt

I wouldn't put it past him though.

I'm glad that the next completes series won't be a game with a set story. I watched the first 10 or so videos of the Watchdogs 2 completes and enjoyed the first few but stopped as watching anymore would make me not want to play the game. Both because of spoilers and because if I kept watching it I would feel like there wouldn't be a point in playing the game because I would've been exposed to basically all of the game. Since the next series is a permadeath, I'm actually looking forward to the story that would be created through the series. Good luck on both the series and Coxcon!

Have fun at CoxCon! Nostalgia Critic did a hilarious 15 minute live performance on stage, where he ripped Twilight to shreds. So, it's possible. A tip from someone who's done this before: practice in front of a smaller audience. The audience could be just your wife. It could be a teddy bear. It could even be your wife and a teddy bear. But if you practice, then you can get over the anxiety while in front of that small audience. Then during the real presentation, you can leave your nerves on autopilot and they'll just copy the feelings from your earlier practice. It works very well, as long as you get a few practice sessions in.

Chris

Will you be up for signing stuff at CoxCon? Either way a picture with you will be cool. And will be Rebecca be with you?

Russell Sellers

Same for me but insert United States

Jackie

No way the next completes is Ark, Dan wouldn't bother with censoring the footage.

Matt Eden

I would have loved to go to CoxCon, sadly it's on just a few days after I leave for holiday, and I'm on holiday for a month. :(

Sean MacBean

Seeing that I may not get hired and probably will need to leave the UK after uni (and never have the chance to come back), I'll make sure to remember to go to CoxCon this year. Now I just need to hope I won't look too awkward going outside...

Winder Sun

I'll be at CoxCon to see your face Dan, don't you worry, don't you worry...

I'm sure your first convention will go great. Let us know if you're ever doing something in New York. I unfortunately can't make it out to England. By the way... I miss Planet Coaster, but Watch Dogs has been great and permadeaths are awesome.

Matthew Doney

Really wish I could go and meet you but it'd be very difficult due to the whole living in Scotland thing :(

Yay I can meet the procrastinating legend!

Theo Athinou

YES! Ark can be such a funny game at times. And the stress of permadeath will make sure it never gets dull.
