Help us piece the puzzle together

Dear Insane Children,

Font Lord here letting you know what we're going to do next and asking for a bit of advice from those in the know.

We want to do a jigsaw puzzle.
It's looking like a 1000 piece jigsaw that will be 70cm X 50cm when complete.

But this isn't really something we've done before, so we just wanted to put the feelers out and ask if there might be anything we're overlooking or any subtleties we need to take into consideration.
So those of you who are avid puzzlers, what do you think?
Do you have any pearls of wisdom to share?

Also, any ideas for the actual jigsaw picture?

American thinks the above picture would be pretty great, and I agree.
But it would be nice to hear if there's any fantastic suggestions we might have overlooked.

Once this is all sorted out and made, the idea is to do what we did with the Calendar previously.
Simply put it into the Mysterious store and then all Patrons get a discount code.
(Jigsaw price and discount code percentage not yet finalised)

So please, sound off in the comments.

Big Hugs from Covid Lockdown in Shanghai!

- Cheers

Nightmare! Lofl, but you're right it'd be challenging and fitting to the theme!

A jigsaw would be the most amazing thing ever! One thing that frustrates me about the puzzles I do, (and I do ALOT) is the glare on the pieces when the puzzles print is glossy! I've had a few matte puzzles that were stunning when completed. I think the matte aesthetic would be fitting for an Alice puzzle!

I do puzzles for my past time. I would buy whichever ones you pick but I love this one!

A jigsaw would be great! But please do it right, cause there is nothing more annoying than a badly cut jigsaw! Ravensburger does it right, but a lot of cheap brands are just horrible! If the quality of the cut and the pieces isn't right/excellent than it hardly matters how beautiful the picture is!

This picture is so good for jigsaw. A little hard because of the colours but doesn't matter. I think it is important the good cutting of the pieces and the quality of impression.

Puzzles are fun. I remember when i was much younger that i got a puzzle for Starwars Episode 1 that had unique puzzle pieces in it. Their was a few pieces in the shape of the Jedi, one of Jar-Jar, one of a pod racer. It was different and I thought it added something different to the puzzle. Is that something that could be considered here? Maybe do a few pieces that reflect the puzzle in some way, like above, a piece in the shape of Alice, one in the shape of the moon, Etc. Or possibly do a few pieces in shapes from the series. A few in the shape of characters, Alice, the Hatter, maybe iconic items, the Vorpal Blade, the Hammer, or something else. Just some thoughts....

Great idea. Nice picture.

I don’t do puzzles a whole lot but I promise you I’d be happy to finish this one and frame it!

I love this idea. The Artwork of Alice is simply amazing & any made into puzzle form will be fantastic. Hope this idea comes to fruition soon, cannot wait for the finished puzzle product. Much love to all of Alice World. Great ideas above also.

If you want to make it really challenging, and give more for the money, how about making it double sided!? Either way, I'd be interested in a jigsaw puzzle version...

Love the idea of a Puzzle, the image posted would be great! Perhaps you could make certain surfaces pearlecent? Or Holographic? What would be even cooler would be an image representing Alices mind, and it is us putting the "pieces/ fragments (or even memorys)" back together in the form of a puzzle? Perhaps also some nice presentation box revealing the pieces? Such as the Chaos Clock or the Sarcophagus the Hatter reveals?

I agree, I luv puzzles even now as an adult! This one with the moon I think would be a great one. Or maybe, what if u put like a post of ur best-selling or most requested posters and go from there? Or, and I used to see these years ago, some puzzles come in abstract shapes. Like I have a pretty big one that in the end is the shape of the sphinx with an Egyptian mural inside.
