Dev log - 01

Hey everyone, I'm back with a little update on our game!

After some time solving smaller things on code here and there, it's finally time to make our first boss fight

Our first boss is a shield user, Mousekin, with the ability to defend and absorb damage, saving this absorbed damage to power to deliver a powerful shield charge attack!

Here comes some of my character process. Be ready for some art!

using as a base the bleu guard designs i keep it simple to help with the future animations in spine.

Also planned some of the scenes we will have that will require character-specific art

Dialog art for the encounter start

armor break art for when the character is defeated

wth this art, i can make a simple animation that runs when the boss is defeated

i also made some mockup animations just to test the boss mechanics, this way I can check if anything else is needed on the art side

right now all the mechanical parts art working.

finally with everything working, when you win a combat you get this sequence

The next step is do the animation rig for the character!
