Patreon anniversary

It’s been a year since I created my Patreon, and although I’m not the best with words, I wanted to do something especial.

Firstly, I am very thankful to all of you, from the first ever member to the newest. It means a lot to me that you decided to support my art. Of course, this doesn’t only include Patreon members, but followers and clients. As a kid and teenager, I never thought people would care about my art, and I didn’t even consider art as an actual career and job. Here I am, after a lot of self-study, I happily consider it my job, or a hobby with many benefits. Since it is not my main job, I can decide when and what to draw, focusing on illustrations that I really want.

I have been very lucky to reach to such a good audience. I have had the opportunity to draw fascinating characters and emotional pieces, and learn a lot from everyone. Luckily there has been zero to no drama, I could count in one had all the bad experiences I have had since I opened commissions back in 2020, which, compared to other artists I have talked to, means I am REALLY lucky XD

I’d love to keep drawing forever, which means you will see a lot more of my art! Sometimes, I look back at old pieces and see the improvement, and it’s clear that all my efforts have been worth it. When someone mentions it, it makes me very proud.

Also, I would like to mention how hard life is being for everyone. With climate change, economic crisis and health issues, art won’t be a priority. This applies to myself too, as I’d love to commission other artists but I’m unable to do it as much as I’d like. In any case, if any of you can’t afford my commissions or has to leave the Patreon for any of these reasons (or others), please don’t feel guilty about it. I’m grateful of all the time that you have supported me and there is no obligation to do it in a monetary way, and of course, I prefer that you prioritize yourself over art.

Now that I have done a big text, here are some ideas! I thought it would be a good idea to set some future objectives and milestones, so here you have them! Hopefully they will be unlocked soon :D

15 Members: Monthly raffle for Patrons only, in a scene featuring one of my characters. Theme and characters will be chosen through a poll a month earlier.

30 Members: Rotating pick of one Patron from this tier per month to receive Artistic liberty colored sketch (in addition to their regular monthly art request)

50 Members: Rotating pick of one Patron from this tier per week to receive Artistic liberty rendered piece.

Of course, you are welcome to suggest more! For now, I’m trying to upload speedpaints, once I figure how it can work well, you’ll see some :3
