Updates!

COVID:

I am feeling much better, though I am still under isolation rules, and still a little tired. My temperature seems to be back to normal; cough nearly gone; chest heaviness still lingering a bit;  "sick-sound" in my voice still lingering as well; stomach and mid-back muscles still sore from coughing. I am slowly working my strength up to work. (Unfortunately, now my wife's COVID is staring up as of yesterday, trailing me by about 2-3 days).

Artwork:

I sent out messages to 3 patrons for the mOnthly grOw illustration and 2 sketch-watercolors, including rough sketches. I am waiting to hear back. If I don't hear back by early next week, I may send out new feelers for replacement (short month and I'm behind, so no time to waste! 😁 )

Exxxotica Review:

I hope to post something, just not yet. There's too much on my plate. I'll focus on this month's Patreon rewards first.

BustArtist Art Book:

I have plenty (but a limited amount) of the 128-page printed paperback books I was selling at Exxxotica. I am thinking of offering them to Patrons to buy first. As soon as I work out the logistics, I will make an announcement. Also 8.5 x 11 prints and some stickers.
My initial thoughts will be: 1) US shipping only; 2) first offer to higher-tier Patrons first, then each tier down until gone.
Note: The art book is of pre-existing images — from Patreon (79 images); sample grOw/cOmic book pages (17); sample grOw/cinema images (26); some grOw/stOry images (7); and "parody" images (9) (from DeviantArt or Patreon). I have to say, there is something special seeing these things in print.
If I run out, will I print more? Unsure. It depends on the demand. I also am not sure if I want to take time from creating to become a mailing house, but my wife said she'd help with that, so that's a plus! Also, the cost of a new run will depend on how many I order at a time (the more ordered, the cheaper).

Commission Changes:

I have been mulling over a few changes to the Commissions to freshen things up a bit. This may apply to the Black-and-White and/or Wholesome Commissions. These changes will start as non-permanent, rotational changes (i.e., will replace another Commission from time-to-time, and not every month).
One idea is to have a theme (maybe a holiday, college classroom, shopping, cars, who knows!).
Another is to limit sizes to "huge" or lower. This last one comes from a desire to have a "palette cleanser" from all the bigger, bigger, bigger! themes. Sometimes, it's nice to appreciate the true enormity (if taken from a "real life" point of view and not a fantasy one) that "huge" can really be! (This was inspired by my visit to Exxxotica, and absorbing just how enormous Demora Avarice was on Saturday after she had done a 2k-liter saline infusion into each breast. And, to be honest, so did my wife!) So, the challenge will be in the scenario and the character's response (and not just "how big can we make the character"), as well as how growth-sexy tight clothes, ripping clothes, bra destruction, etc., can be!

Glad you're feeling better and hopefully back in action.

Very glad to hear that you're feeling better already! I hope Mrs. JulieKat also gets well soon! I would honestly love to get my hands on one of your art books, but I am nowhere near sly enough to keep it hidden from prying eyes. As for your commission changes, I wholeheartedly agree with the holiday themes! That would be fun! I also agree with putting a size limit for now. It feels like we've hit kind of a point where the really big stuff is all that's winning in some categories, and this is coming from someone who's guilty of submitting some of those ideas. Variety is the spice of life and I'd like to see what creative scenarios people can come up with for smaller sizes!
