As much as I'd hate to admit it due to how badly she was introduced the new issue is actually pretty good. It does a lot of things I love such as bring back nice handful of old stuff and then mirroring it in a way that was different from the Parker dynamic. Another nice change, and I realize this may sound odd given the nature of this Patreon, is how silk didn't try to jump spidey every time she saw him like it was her only pre-dominant personality trait. It actually focused on character building. Old issues she had with her family, how she handles her new job, her roommate, and how she handles actually being a hero on her own for the first time. So yeah, despite getting off on the wrong foot, I'm looking forward to the next issue. It wouldn't be the first time a decent writer turned me on to a character. Amy is awesome in the Archie comics.
