To be honest, I find it hard to join discussions, I always seem to be surrounded by Damon Apologists. That's probably why I really like your Reactions because to an extent, you seem to be a realist: You see things as they are as opposed to what you want them to be. It's funny though, I often can't stand the Writers either, it's like they insult my intelligence. They think with some grandiose music and stares, I'll just love anything they write -- [Damon], lol.

I’m not interested in his guilt either at least not right now.😂 He just set himself way back. Him killing Jeremy even with the ring on is the equivalent of him pushing him off a cliff and saying “well he survived so what’s the problem?” What I am curious about and looking forward to is what he’s going to do to win Elena over again even as a friend. because I imagine it will be awhile from now.

2020-01-04 15:04:45 +0000 UTCThe 'It will always be Stefan' was Damon's trigger. It isn't just about Elena rejecting him, there's more to it than that. I'm not going to condone Damon's behaviour towards Elena, but it was the choice of words which made him snap, not her actual rejection. However, it was still wrong and he clearly regretted it, which is an improvement as he is now feeling guilt. Damon's entire human life was pretty horrific before he met Katherine. He was vulnerable and Katherine is a master manipulator, do not underestimate her, nobody is immune. This season opens up the supernatural world. What seemed important last season will seem less so this season. Many see it as their favourite, I prefer S3. Great reaction, hope the mic doesn't go down in the next one.
