Sorry sorry, he can regenerate a further 3 times at this point, not just twice, my mistake. Not really a spoiler, just wanted you to the know the stakes I guess of his life. Well Tennant has already fallen in love with one of his companions, hard to get more human than that.

I don’t know if I knew he could only regenerate 12 times and he only has 2 left?!!🤯 But I wonder how they explain the many different actors after him🤔 Hmm and if David Tennant is the most human I’m kind of afraid about meeting the other doctors in future seasons. I was hoping they’d get more human as the show progressed😢

Remember, the Doctor isn't immortal. He can only regenerate 12 times, this being the Tenth Doctor so he can only regenerate thrice more. He can also be killed if he's killed before he can fully regenerate himself. But yes! This exploration of the Doctor's loneliness and his inability to lead a normal life are what make the 10th Doctor my favourite. People criticise him for being the most human, but that's what I like about him. After all, he's spent hundreds of years around humanity, it's bound to have an effect. I won't say too much about the character though, so you can experience it all yourself.

It’s like we’re doing it all in parallel! There is another rough period for you to get through in Who in my opinion, but it’s so far in the future that by that point I imagine you’ll just be invested!

I like the design of the monster, but for me the scary horror aspect muddles the message about life, death, and what it means to be human. Still, some great Martha moments. Her getting a dna sample from the kiss, using the sonic screwdriver to end the lockdown without needing instructions, etc. Plus her telling the doctor that she won't be a fling, basically, is the first of many character development moments that really distinguish her from other companions and, imo, the way female love interests are written as a whole on television. I love Martha Jones so much

Yeah it wasn’t the best episode, but the Martha/Doctor moments were good

I'm not a fan of this story as a whole. Nice to see enjoy the best parts of it. I think the second half of this series is regarded as better than the first half. So looking forward to your reactions to them.
