2021-02-15 16:33:43 +0000 UTCThis was a good episode, as a part 1 of the finale. I was thinking the same thing as you. Don't let Sammy out of your sight Dean! But he couldn't know what was about to happen. That cafe was super small. It's odd, but they actually do exist. They likely built that one just for the episode though. We have one that size near my house. Only has a few tables for people to sit at. Mostly does take outs. The kitchen is very tiny too. Not much room to move around in there. There's another one not too far away. It's really popular, so there's usually a line of people waiting. It's hard to move around inside. Obviously, they can only do take outs these days. Anyway - I was disappointed that Sam didn't make sure Jake was out. He just turned his back on him. I was glad he didn't just kill him after knocking him out, but why leave the weapons right there. I think that just shows how much Sam relies on Dean to take care of things like that. Dean has been protecting him, so Sam likely hasn't learned enough how to fight dirty, or to fight smart. But he needs to! Jake wouldn't have let Sam go though. He was going to try to kill him. Even if Sam did run away, Jake would have come after him. But, Sam still could have tried. It's not like him though. So now he got stabbed in the back. sigh
