2021-02-19 19:04:29 +0000 UTCReally enjoyable reaction! It's probably the best reaction to this episode I've seen,because you have (as usual) so many interesting observations to make. By all means continue reacting if and when you have an opportunity. The first 3 stories (NOT the first three episodes!) contain a sort of loose character through-arc. It would be fun to see you react to the second story (i.e. the one after the cavemen) in particular;because it is (to put it mildly) totally iconic in Who lore.

2021-02-17 15:19:25 +0000 UTCReally enjoying your take on these... obviously it's a VERY different show but with some similar ingredients - Doctor, companions, TARDIS, cliffhangers (which were a much bigger part of the show back in the day as you've spotted...!), weekly supporting casts and characters, etc. etc. Stories lasted on average 4 episodes back in the day (though they run between 2 and 12 episodes, depending on the story) - this particular story was 4 episodes long if you want to know how far you go to get a conclusion (though even that kind of ends on a cliffhanger INTO the next story...) This 4 parter is probably one of the weakest of Season 1 (with the exception of the first episode which I really do love for its mystery and intrigue).
