Barbara is one of my favourite Doctor Who companions and moments like these are why she really stands out for me. I love that she was the MVP of this episode. The POV shots when she noticed something was wrong was quite effective too. :)

The model shots in 'The Sea of Death' are really charming - I especially love when one of the submarines briefly jolts back, as the string being used seems to get caught...! The evil brains-in-jars for this episode aren't anything original, but the ideas of tricking the Doctor and co with illusions of what they desire most is pretty fun (and there's a nice bit of unease when Barbara first wakes up, and we can't see what she's describing) I love Barbara going to town on the brain jars, it's so dramatic 😅 And yes, The Doctor is a bit of an idiot here.. not that such *truly* ever changes! It's pretty funny seeing him make the cliches of 'let's split up', 'let's believe everything we see' 'I'm going off alone'...
