Progress Report for Winter Comiket and Apology for Rescheduling

Thank you for your support. I am Haruhisky.

I would like to report on the progress of my work for Winter Comiket.

Currently, for the new doujin book "Harucos 14," the 30-page color illustration is almost complete.

This one looks like it will be ready for finishing without any problems.

However, it is now 12/7, which is much later than I had originally planned.

Actually, I had planned to complete it in a couple of weeks.

Due to the works of the local community association, the schedule did not go as planned...

Considering the printing deadline, I only have about 20 days left until Winter Comiket.

It has become somewhat difficult to complete the original manga with a sufficient number of pages.

I was thinking of making this original manga into a series, and I wanted to use a solid 40 or more pages to draw it.

I think that 20 days would mean that with the speed of my brush, it would end up being around 20 pages.

Rather than trying to reduce the quality, I decided to reevaluate the schedule and make a new publication at the Winter Comic.

I am thinking of focusing on "Harucos 14" as my new book for Winter Comiket.

I apologize to those who were looking forward to distributing multiple doujins.

Instead, I would like to add some dialogue and nude diffs to the "Harucos 14" on the support site and the digital version to make it more substantial.

I would also like to complete "The sugar dating of Haruhi Suzumiya 2" by the end of this month.

As for my original manga, I would like to make it more substantial and voluminous so that I can publish it as a digital doujin without sticking to selling it at events.

I wish I had been quicker with my drawing, but I hope you will forgive me as I will try to improve the content of the manga.

Don’t tire yourself out on our account. If you’re too exhausted to make quality art, nobody wins, neither the artist nor the consumer. Rest when you need it.

I think you should definitely do what you think you can do soon, the main thing is your mental and emotional state

I totally agree with the previous comment - if your work comes at the cost of your mental or physical health - it's 100% a valid reason to postpone it or concentrate on something that you can accomplish in the original time frame. I am personally impressed with the amount of work you already produce and my personal satisfaction from your works is 11/10 (you exceed my expectations most of the time!)

No problem at all. It's important to pace yourself and not take on too much work. I don't mind a slower release schedule as long as you are able to stay healthy and not stressed out or overworked. If your health suffers too much then you would not be able to draw at all, and no one wants that to happen. So relax and don't worry about it. I'm sure the new works will be worth the wait!
