Let's talk rewards and what's coming - please be sure to read, especially the $5 and $10+ tiers!

Hey there!

So, first up, if you're a $10+ tier, please read.  I'm about to adjust the rewards and that means losing the big one - snippet stories.  I'm struggling to complete these on time and I feel like that's not fair for people at that level.

Therefore, I'm going to be adjusting the reward beginning in August.  Perhaps if things even out a little bit, I'll look at adding it back, but for now, it's guilt tripping me which only adds to the stress I'm under.

It's difficult to consider what to replace it with.  Right now, I'm thinking about maintaining the Discord channel where I share WIP on upcoming artwork based on stories.  I'm also looking at shifting the polls away from the $5 tier to the $10 tier so that both upcoming art is under their tier.  I'd also look at adding polls for the next story, using the list generated by the $5+ tiers when I call for them, potentially adding in random sequel ideas as well.  

This means $5 tiers lose poll abilities.

However, this is a work in progress and I'm open to ideas for both tiers.

Snippets that were already requested will still be completed.  If you're a $10+ and you have been for a while and you haven't had a chance at a snippet story but feel like you're owed one, contact me so I can look you up and figure that out.  These will be done as I can do them.

Honestly, I'd love to just have $2 and $5 tiers and if it becomes that, that's fine.  I definitely won't blame $10 people from dropping down or dropping out.

I'm still struggling with work load, life balance and writing balance but trying to figure out how to handle all of it.  I'm still writing but not at 100% of where I was. 

Coming up, I won't be asking for $5 tier prompts in August.  This coming month is in flux.  If all goes well, I'll reinstate that in September.

The caption and art for "Slow Burn" should be out this coming Monday.  I'm already at 800 words with some more to go.  Also this next week will be a rendition of Beauty and the Beast.  I'm at.. .gosh... 7,000 words or something there.  With more to finish.  It's difficult due to the time period and style and tone.  I also want to finish Hair of the Dog Ch 02 next month.  I'm not sure what else I'll write in August but there will be more.  I just don't want to try to promise and not deliver.
