Hey Gearheads!
August was a crazy month. We put out or big release, Azula's Dark Desire that's been in the works for months and we had a major update to the Huntress Hole which included all the recent preview animations on top of some of the previous content. It also included our interaction test with Pyrrha.
Unfortunately our numbers have been steadily dropping, so we'll be running lots of poles this week to try to figure out the disconnect and what you guys are wanting to see going forward as we want to focus our energy on the content that will have the best reception.

We want to make sure the Huntress Hole is still where we should be putting a lot of energy. There's been a lot of turn over so we have a lot of new people. If you guys are still interested in this, then I can flush it out more. I can add more characters, more animations, more interaction and maybe even try to implement some of the previous AI content we we're testing back when we could pay to bring in a programmer.

The most significant change we had during the last two drops were the shift from the weekly VR Videos. If were getting a lot of new people for those videos and people are staying for them or leaving because we're working on something else, then we certainly want to address that as well. We currently have 55 videos in the archive totaling around 4hrs of content and plenty in the queue. We could easily focus on the videos and work to bring new exclusive 2D and VR video content.

We still have the Raven POV experience in the works. The script, voice acting and animation is all done. The backdrop has been setup and we're bring in the characters to set the scene. Once that's done the 2D version of the full scene will take about a week and then each half of the VR versions will take a week as well.
On the Unity side we're looking into optimization as usual and always on the look out for better VR controls, but we've had a recent break through on the interaction side. We've been working on reverse engineering some head pat systems so we can re-tool them for lewd purposes. This will be a game changer for interaction in our releases.
Since things are getting tighter the animation/SFX side is getting antsy, so we're trying to figure out what to do about that. We're already running on fumes, so we might have to shift to a skeleton crew. On the positive side, I am able to do all the parts we need, it's just a matter of it taking a lot longer to get done.
All in all August was a really big month for content, but a really rough month for support. All those of you that have been hanging in there are greatly appreciated. Any of you on the fence now is the time to speak up and have your voices heard (though we're always listening) to help drive the direction of content towards something you want to stick around to see.
