He asks Shuu about possibly getting a few critical doors widened so it'll be easier, but Shuu BS's some nonsense about how the structure of the house just wouldn't be able to accommodate a double-door for the kitchen and bedroom. Everyone can see that it's just because he looooves seeing Kaneki struggle to fit his fat fucking hog body through tight spaces, doubly so if he ends up needing help getting out, but poor Kaneki is dumb and trusting and just accepts this explanation"
