Hello again, everyone!
Finally, the newest version of NTR Mobile is here! As mentioned a while back, this release of NTR Mobile contains minimal content. The reason for this is the implementation of a new gameplay element that provides the player with more insights and, in the near future, gives you the ability to steer certain events happening in the world of NTR Mobile. This, along with a new gameplay element that is going to be introduced in v0.17.0, is needed to continue the story.
I originally had more content planned for v0.16.0, but a LOT has happened. One of the bigger issues was that Liz's conversation had become so large that Unity could no longer load it properly. This forced me to implement the log system in this update rather than in v0.17.0. I managed to implement the entire log system. Right now (once you unlock it), it will pop up as an icon in the messenger app and, in this update, only contains Liz's chat log. However, the chat system is completely done, and once the logs for ALL your chats (including other characters) are implemented, this button will move to the actual chat window. This cut down development time on the story content significantly. But the last few days were Murphy's Law in full effect. I will go into this more at the end of the post.
Previous chats are now viewable in the log system.
Added a new game feature introduced to you by Richard.
Fixed bugs, to name a few:
Soft lock on the happy path.
When kicked from the lovers' path to the happy path during the university event, the game acts like you picked "show more skin."
Some stuff not unlocking properly.
And the story continues... slowly...
Fixed a bug where on the lovers path you get kicked to the happy path for no reason.
NewText on PC.
Fixed M112 not triggering properly.
I will be updating the Patreon ShareSpace posts and Patreon supporter list in a separate patch this week.
Okay, NOW here’s how my last couple of days looked. I will TRY not to turn this into a rant. So, since Unity was not loading Liz's dialogue (and when it did, it was unworkable), I tried upgrading my CPU. Installing everything was easy, but I got hit with a "RAM incompatibility" issue. Mind you, I did not know it was a RAM incompatibility issue at first. For me, the PC booted up, and Windows went directly into repair mode. After trying everything, I decided to reinstall Windows. After that didn’t work, I found out it was a RAM issue. Once I fixed the RAM issue, the PC started working again... hooray! But wait... THERE'S MORE! A fresh Windows installation meant everything I use to work was gone. A majority of that is now fixed, but damn... That also cut into development time significantly...
I do thank you all. Even if I don’t react, I read the chat from time to time, and it warms me up to see how hyped you all are for the newest release.
It does wonders for motivation.
Thank you all for being so awesome!
