Path to freedom...

Hello there, everyone.

Over the last couple of months, I’ve been looking into future timelines and the games I want to release while keeping main development on NTR Mobile. No matter how I plan or manage, everything comes down to a lack of available time. So after careful consideration, I’ve decided to reduce my contracted hours. This way, I can focus not only on delivering more of NTR Mobile per update but also on upcoming projects (and I’m confident you’ll enjoy at least some of what I have planned).

This hasn’t been an easy decision (it’s a big one) but I believe NTR Mobile and future projects are worth the risk. More than anything, I want all of you to experience more of NTR Mobile and its universe, which just isn’t possible with so little time.

The last few days, I’ve been deep in bureaucracy, exploring all the options with my employer. While reducing hours is possible, you can’t restore them afterward (which makes sense, usually, they’d be trying to offboard you at that point). Normally, the company doesn’t push back much, but… the reduction I proposed was so significant that they’re resisting hard.

That’s why this coming week is going to be so hectic and stressful. Today, I spoke with everyone from management to upper management to HR (funny how suddenly everyone’s available). Concerns came up about who’ll handle infrastructure, code, and data security. I made it clear that it’ll still be my responsibility (just two days a week instead of five) and that they need to figure out how to manage the drop in available resources relative to the workload. They countered with three days, alternating with four-day weeks, but I’m not budging. I’m fighting hard (I’m not the type to give up) so one way or another, they’ll have to accept it.

Again, this is a tough decision, and while it’ll hurt financially, I’m determined to see it through. Time is the only resource I’m missing, and for the future of NTR Mobile and to keep giving you all the best I can I’ve decided to fix that problem.

Dealing with this is also why I haven’t posted an update about v0.21 yet. I appreciate your understanding during this stressful period.
