Part 2| Job interview + merch

If you haven’t read part one, you might be a bit lost. But since you’re all adults do what you please. 

Okay lets get this started—

My second interview

So this interview was at 1pm— thank god. I was so exhausted and really sad about the first interview. I was looking forward to actually being a marketing manager. I did find some pro’s from the first interview. The night prior, I took time to research what to expect as an marketing manager and though I only spent like an hour researching—a lot of the content was things Ive been doing since having social media. However, It did encourage me to take a few marketing courses and hopefully apply them to my own business. So YAY!

Quick back story| …about the the second interview— I’ve been applying to jobs that were for the most part receptionist positions. I have a lot of customer service experience, that was my recent positions. I applied to so many they and a lot of them said no or nothing. I was so curious to why I started calling them back and asking what made me unqualified for the positions.The manager got back to me and told me it was lack of medical terminology that got my applications decline but still wanted to met.

So, to make a bitter story, sadly sour — I went in and could already tell by Her vibe it was a instant NO. I still did my best and after the interview I asked once again,

“..was there anything after reviewing my applications and meeting in person, that would instills my capabilities to doing this job efficiently?”

 I was only met with.

“ You dont know medical terminology.”

Which, giving my mother is a RN and a have a few Rn friends and family, MAs and doctors—Ive been reinsured that as a receptionist, I legally am not able or would be allow to tell the patients about their personal info. So what ever you need me to learn if I don't already know it, I could be trained on. She then encouraged me to take a few courses if Im serious. I asked what would recommend, she tells me she doesn’t know.

Needless to say, the same day I bought new supply for my office and a printer because, I think the universe wants to tell me that I should protect my peace and worry about my business.
