Changes Coming Soon
Added 2019-02-02 21:39:09 +0000 UTCHey folks!
Aaron here. I wanted to communicate two things.
First, I'm incredibly grateful for your generous and constant support. You're part of my team, and I love you for that. So...thanks.
Second, I wanted to apologize for neglecting Patreon for a few months. Things got pretty busy last Fall when I was still writing Cabinet of Curiosities, finishing the final scripts for Unobscured, and still writing Lore. Plus recording all three shows.
Toss in a few trips to promote the Amazon show's new season, and World of Lore book #3, and I was barely sleeping. Those are my excuses, at least, but if you've been frustrated or disappointed, I won't blame you one bit. I would feel the same way.
The good news is this: I'm ready to kick off a new phase of Patreon membership here. Starting on Monday (2/4/19), I'll be restructuring the membership tiers by swapping out old rewards and replacing them with better, more valuable ones.
I want this Lore Membership site to become something hardcore Lore fans find valuable and entertaining, and the changes I have in store should do just that. I'm not ready to talk about them today, but look for another note from me on Monday to explain it all.
Lore will stay right here on Patreon, new rewards will arrive to replace the old and tired ones, and some new features in the pipeline at Patreon will allow me to add even more value in the near future.
Bottom line: I appreciate you all, and want to give you something valuable for your generous support. Monday's changes are my next step in making that happen.
Thanks for all that you do...
Aaron @ Lore

2019-03-28 01:39:25 +0000 UTCHey Deanna. There's a great tutorial here about how to find and use your private audio link. Once you have located and copied it, you will need to install a podcast app on your phone (Apple podcasts, Pocket Casts, Overcast, or RadioPublic are great apps). You would open the app and look for an "Add" feature, specifically the "RSS address" option: <a href="https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212055866-How-Do-I-Get-and-Use-My-Audio-RSS-Link-">https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212055866-How-Do-I-Get-and-Use-My-Audio-RSS-Link-</a>

2019-03-27 05:08:10 +0000 UTCI moved the receipt containing rss url information into my documents folder in my gmail sidebar, I didn't even notice it until now

2019-03-08 05:24:35 +0000 UTCAh, disregard that message. I did something wrong and couldn't access content so I assumed the premium content was for members of a higher tier. Please pardon any 'off color' comments, I just got a bit stressed-Henry

2019-03-08 05:12:21 +0000 UTCHi Henry. I'm not sure what you mean by "unsatisfied with the confusion", but I'll assume you are having trouble with Patreon. If it's a technical issue, you will need to reach out to their support team for help, as my Lore team does not provide tech support. If it's a matter of finding your unique private RSS address (it's real, not "fictional", because I would never promise a valuable reward that doesn't exist), you can find it at the top of the Lore Patreon page (if you are logged in), on the right side of the page in a box that is titled "RSS Audio Link". No HTML necessary...just copy that link text, and paste it into your podcast app of choice (all of them have an "Add" function).

2019-03-08 00:03:37 +0000 UTCI am slightly unsatisfied with the confusion regarding accessing content. I joined last week, now wrestling with the fictional 'RSS feed' which is the golden key to implement the copy/paste code needed. It seems as if creating a RSS feed is equal to constructing a website using basic html. Any way I can access the Patreon only content without dealing with RSS feed (theory)? much obliged! I cannot get enough of Aarons podcasts.:) -Henry W.

2019-03-07 23:56:09 +0000 UTCHonestly, I can't tell from the Patreon help docs. I believe you will need to change the tier yourself, in your own dashboard. Thanks!
