Mansa was encouraged to play with his siblings despite being an indoor kid and them being older, rougher, and better at violent sports. He started fencing when he was little to satisfy his family’s demand, but he still sewed with his grandmas 💕

I can literally hear my parents saying “They bully you because you react, so stop reacting!” Yes, because it was clearly MY fault and I was the one who needed to change their behavior.

I didn't realize how bad it was for Mansa... that does fill in his absolute hatred of bullies and wanting to protect those who can't stand up for themselves easily... I also think it's hilarious that for his familially acceptable activity he picked the giant needle-er-sword.
