Alright time to break out the pros and cons charts people! 1) Take the job + get married = puts them on path to good finances + political scrutiny + potential rushed relationship stress 2) Take the job + no marriage = puts them on path to good finances + different flavor of political scrutiny, but they’re not rushing the relationship 3) Don’t take the job = stay broke for the foreseeable future, work with stress without the scrutiny, but at least they’re not rushing the relationship 🤔 🤔 🤔 I both love and hate that it’s a balanced choice that will depend specifically on what Song/Mansa value for their future, because then it requires they talk it out and we know they probably aren’t going to talk it out And the timeline is much appreciated!!!

Appearances definitely affect him, he can’t really be removed from office without cause but other judges could certainly make things more difficult for him. I’m sure most people noticed his demotion, it would have been a popular gossip, so this move would be quite the topic!

I meant to ask yesterday, how public is Mansa's current/next position? It doesn't seem like there's a popular vote, more of an electoral vote (by the judges) for the high council, and Mansa was moved into his current position without any notice - which implies the high council member who worked with him hadn't known about the move. I assume the general population is aware of him because of Bill 58 but would they normal know much about a judge? (As I could vote for a mayor but I not a judge - what is the public's role?) I know he said appearances are the least of his concern, but if this is his job track, how do they effect him?
