Smuggler (page 127)

Now why might Ghost want Song staying in touch… that doesn’t seem like something a rebel with a bad impression of humans such as herself would do 🤔

If she tells him he should write but doesnt get the letter delivered then it’s easy to get song on the agenda, bc « mansa was just like elon »

jeanni

Hmmmmm. A judge could be useful to Ghost.

Atelerix

Since she kept an eye on him ever since old habits i suspect she already knows where he lives. Ghost was probably a lil stalker 👀Creepy. I was more referring to the first point. There really isn’t a difference between Ghost not delivering the letter and delivering it. Song won’t be able to find out about Mansa’s reaction to it regardless of if it’s delivered or not. I think what’s written in the letter is going to be important.

Little0cean

Shit I hadn't thought about that!

Marta

Ikr😭❤️

Marta

A letter, actually delivered, might keep Mansa from searching and wreck any long term plans Ghost might have for Song

Lemaris Designs

I didnt mean mansa would have song's... I meant ghost now had the address of a judge. That could be useful to her cause.

Aurelia

No it just lights up when he’s close to conjuring!

Whiteley Foster

My suspicion is that she wants to read it and see if she can trust song to keep a secret this dangerous even from his most trusted person

Phantasmal Owl

His horn! It's not cracking more is it? :(

Kaitlin Maynard

I want to believe she has a soft spot for when people truly love each other 🥺

Puzzlecat

Seems like good blackmail material to have on a judge but what do I know?

Glissando365

I’m assuming because he is a judge 🤔

Cathlo Morton

They probably wouldn’t put a return address on it and only the address of Song and Mansa’s home. Putting an address where Mansa can send his reply would probably be to risky. My guess is that she wants to use Mansa somehow with the help of that letter.

Little0cean

It’s possible she knows some of that, yes!

Whiteley Foster

This is very suspicious. She probably has an ulterior motive and doesn’t make that suggestion from her good of her heart. But some part of me wants to believe she knows Mansa is a good kid and knows that Song telling Mansa he’s fine would benefit his mental health. Maybe it has something do to with that art piece where Song protects Mansa from someone who looks like Ghost and says „You swore to me you’d leave him out of this!“ Maybe she wants to pull Mansa into this somehow and not in a good way 🥲 If Ghost stared to watch Song after the events of old habits, did that include his personal life? Does she know that Song and Mansa have a good relationship (even if it is in a kind of rocky spot right now). Does she knows that Mansa was one of the judges who passed Bill 58? And the thing with the horn is very interesting. I wonder what it means. My guess is that it has something to do with emotions.

Little0cean

Also, is Song's horn lighting up going to be his new tell? 🤔

Aurelia

Either a) she's not going to deliver it to "convince" Song Mansa doesn't love/want/miss him, or b) she'd now has a judge's address....

Aurelia

I am seriously concerned about Songs horn.

Fantasyinallforms

Just when I was starting to like her she does something dubious like this... 🥺

Susanne mizz_uzie Olsson

Oh no, of she has Manda's address would she visit him or send someone else? Or could she sabotage him??

Arctic Rose

hmmm-hmmm, suspicious 👀 and was it Song's broken horn reacting to the thought about Mansa? ❤️ I'm still so weak for the idea that lariat is what's keeping it together now in a way and the whole symbolism of it 🥺❤️

sick_pineapple

Song's broken horn just lit up! That's gotten mean something. I just have no idea what hahaha

Kyle Rose

She’s not going to deliver it is she.

Caren

*suspicious* 👀
