But it was an unusual thing, because it wasn't a toy or a gadget that she asked for.
The 6-year-old girl asked Father Christmas to make her grow up, and why?
Because she wanted to be as beautiful and tall as her mother, because for her, beauty was linked to size.
The young girl waited impatiently for Christmas morning, but was a little disappointed to see that she hadn't grown an inch.
However, she was surprised to see a lovely package under her Christmas tree, which her mother had never seen before.
Her mother had no time to react, however, when she opened the package and a cloud of magic dust enveloped her daughter, who grew taller and taller before her very eyes.
In an instant, Lidia smashed through the roof of her house with a smile on her face, and finished her growth with a height of 11m.
So tall that her poor little mum, who couldn't understand what was happening to her daughter, held her not-so-little hand in her...
