Maya was the second character created for Lessons in Love and was originally meant to be a lot more shy and quiet than she wound up being once I actually started writing the game.
Her character is supposed to be an enigma of sorts, not typically disclosing any information about herself (At least not yet). Even Ami doesn't know everything about Maya. She hints at this when she mentions that Maya just "Sort of showed up" one day in a conversation outside her dorm room.
