Object Class: An enchanted witch's hat designed to hide the Transformistress from the notice of authorities and overly curious bystanders. One of three enchanted artifacts passed down from Transformistress to Transformistress. Was originally in the form of a traditional witch's hat before making contact with me. (addendum: Became a Magician's hat when in contact with "Slushie the Snow Woman" aka Noel Winters.)
Transformation Type: TG, TF. (Addendum: Can apparently bring snowmen to life. If someone happens to be inside that snow at the time, they are taken along for the ride.)
Threat Level: Benevolent. Allows me to do my job without catching the ire of local law enforcement, or worse, MOM. (addendum: Just be sure to keep it away from small children in wintertime...)
Subjects: Noel Winters, 22, male, now "Slushie the Snow-Woman", female. Happy Birthday!
A gust of wind stole my hat and scarf from me while I was doing routine reconnaissance in Alaska (look into gust of wind, possibly magical. Ugh). They found their way into the hands of Carol Norwood, who was in the process of turning her boyfriend, Noel Winters, into a "Snow-Woman."
But there must have been some magic in that old fedora she found.
For when she placed it on his head, he sprouted the biggest pair of ice cream milkers I've ever seen on a snowman.
I was able to retrieve my belongings, but unable to reverse the effects of the spell. Luckily, they live in Alaska, so Carol's new girlfriend won't be melting any time soon.

(Also, nice little tid bits of world building. Wondering what are her other two magic items? And who were the former Transformistresses.)
