I made a new speedpainting! It was inspired by a fact recently happened here in Italy: on a newspaper's sport page a journalist, reporting the fourth place in the archery women's match in Rio, called the athletes who missed the third place "chubby trio". It was very unfair and out of place, given that it was an article about a match, not a beauty advices' one... And i'm sure that, with the men's team instead of the women's one, the author of the article wouldn't named it "the chubby trio".
Unfortunately, in our society, women have to be not only good at doing their work, but they have to be how the society wants they have to be: beautiful, fit, sexy, etc.
Yesterday the sport page's director was fired for the missing controls that made the article to be printed with that title. I wanted to do this speedpaint to celebrate the chubby's beauty. To be chubby is not a fault, i love roundness of the shapes and their softness as much as i like a fit body... they're different kinds of beauty and the one doesn't exclude the other.
