The throwaway gag about confusing multiple meanings of the word "club" comes back around to a touching (IF I DO SAY SO MYSELF) commentary about friendship. If the line "'Party?' I like that one" doesn't make you tear up a little, then take a few shots of whiskey and reread this whole story. Also, from the bottom panels, it may seem like we haven't seen the last of Val Bloodrose. But yeah, no, we probably have.
