If anyone’s curious, I use Gesinski ink for the main color and gouache for shadows/highlights. I used a little water bleed for the hair. The background is cotton. I mostly use ink bleed for the outline. Sometimes I use the studio pen, but it usually looks too “digital clean” for my taste.

2019-09-02 10:36:50 +0000 UTCI know I sound like a broken record talking about the iPad I’ve had for about a month now, and that most of my revelations are things people have been doing for years, BUT I think coloring on a screen —a sharp, new screen at that— has made me more confident and more willing to experiment. Sometimes my scanned/Photoshop-colored work was muddy in comparison. I chalk that up to using a ten-year-old laptop.
