Just seeing how far I can take the solid black shapes. I know I often take basic subtractive methods like this and act like I discovered them, but it’s good for me to break out of the traditional art mode once in a while and remember to experiment and take advantage of the medium.
Winifred is great for stuff like this since her general color scheme can be simplified to red, white, and black. I guess I’ve done that with Angela by substituting purple for red, but it kinda feels like cheating. The super simple color scheme suits Winifred more. Maybe it’s because she sees the world in black and white... and red? I don’t know what I’m saying.
