The Normans hadn’t conquered England yet at this time, but it would happen in around the next coming decades. It was still controlled by the Anglo-Saxons, but the Queen of England was sister to the Duke of Normandy which connects them to the Franks somewhat.

Lol looks like we all got spoiled on the grouped episodes for Delicious in Dungeon. All the comments begging for that to happen again with Vinland. 😂 Fun fact: Floki, Ragnar, and that king are the "good guys" from the perspective of the show Vikings. Also, that king who's name escapes me, is the one who united the different tribes and forced them into Christianity on Ragnar's recommendation in order to befriend the Saxon's so they could settle in England, so that king is also Christian (maybe only in name and not spirit where Canute, you'll find, embodies Christianity) Hmm what else.. oh! The Normandi basically merged with the Franks in Gaul territory during the Roman Empire, to then become part of the English empire, while this story takes place in the medieval period, many many years after the Roman Empire fell and became something of a legend the English wanted to strive for, but really it was the church who ruled at this time. You'll see in this show and other "viking age" works that there's some legend worships toward the Romans, which kind of gives a general idea at just how much time has passed without having to look up the dates (because I'm lazy lol) although, funnily enough, it was the Germanic Tribes who fully ended the Roman Empire.

Where YOU think they're spoilers or not, most of us do and would rather find that information for ourselves and let Wes and Steph react to finding it out too. While it seems small, it takes some of the joy out of the way the show unveils things and seeing Wes and Steph react to it. We all enjoy different aspects of this so it's only fair to each other to not post anything that will be revealed, big or small. So please stop posting these kinds of posts. You spoiled something to me horribly in Konosuba as well. So if you don't erase this and stop posting similar "small spoilers" your gonna end up banned. Also for insulting the other commenter who is only giving the rest of us a warning to be careful reading the comments.

But when you started watching it I really gave it a chance and now I am on 8th episode of 2nd season and honestly I like it even more than AOT. So I can't wait for you to start 2nd season. Because it is something special. Sorry for my bad English :P
