Also wish I could recommend TeamFourStar's DBZ Abridged but the first 10 episodes have aged SO poorly with early 2000s humor that it hurts to watch so idk. But the last 30 episodes show so much love of the original manga that it is hard not to respect it as someone that grew up with DBZ airing

Yeah, even though Hunter x Hunter is a personal favorite and it really is an amazing, dense show I feel like they shouldn't commit to too many long already released shows when they already have ones ongoing like Haikyuu. Just wouldn't be fair to others wanting to see shorter less popular shows have a chance. And then One Piece is just lol, might as well wait until the remake comes out and hope it gets the DBZ Kai treatment of cutting down the 60% fluff it has

Spice and Wolf remake "Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf," but only dubbed imo since the main cast and translators do an amazing job at handling the old timey/noble way of speaking for a lead character. Especially since you two dont have much of an ear for japanese, the subtitle translation just doesnt do the material any justice and makes the main girl just come off as a cutesy child when shes supposed to sound very mature and wise despite her appearance. Might get some hate from the overly vocal pedo-weebs that complain about all dubs but I know youll appreciate it a lot as a nice low fantasy slow romance with middle-ages economics and politics thrown in. Also only one other channel is watching it dubbed since subbed came out first and all reactors had to start with that, so theres a good niche to fill search wise

If you are a fan of Sherlock Homes, there's an anime version called Moriarty the Patriot. The main difference is that the main character is Moriarty instead of Sherlock. It's a really good mystery anime with 24 episodes, and I highly recommend it!

Also wish I could recommend TeamFourStar's DBZ Abridged but the first 10 episodes have aged SO poorly with early 2000s humor that it hurts to watch so idk. But the last 30 episodes show so much love of the original manga that it is hard not to respect it as someone that grew up with DBZ airing
