I play VB and seeing that cut had me rewinding it so many times because of how cool it was! I’ve been in games and have been at games seeing crazy stuff like this and it’s just so so so so cool!

2024-12-09 17:36:06 +0000 UTCThe only one who was invited for the Nationals Training camp was Kageyama because he's the only one on the team that is truly an exceptionally talented volleyball genius. The others are very good at their roles, but none of them are exceptional generational talents. Even Hinata is amazing, but Hinata would find it extremely hard to produce the same results in a different team with a different setter. So in the end, its again Kageyama who allows Hinata to shine by adjusting his sets with impossibly perfect precision.

Whereas Kageyama has been well known as a good player since middle school. They definitely highlighted the great team aspect of Karasuno, but individually, Kageyama is heads above the others in terms of skill and potential. Hinata, unfortunately wouldn’t be a pick for Nationals at this time, as he is still very raw as a player. But if they picking based off of enthusiasm, he would be the #1 pick for sure lol

2024-12-06 04:07:40 +0000 UTCiwaizumi and oikawa cameo!!! their dynamic is so funny because for all that iwa calls him shitty, he was walking on his own when oikawa said they should go home 😭 and he didn't complain about oikawa wanting to see ushijima more sad lmao. and regarding the shiratorizawa team, yeah, the manga cut out A LOT of their friendship, like banter between tendou and semi (gray hair, #3) and some high fives between other members, but you can still infer than they're close since all the third and second years call each other by their first name (except for ushijima who calls everyone their last name no matter what they call him). and you'll see the answer to your hinata/kageyama inquiry later on, but someone else in the comments already clarified for you!

2024-12-06 03:09:30 +0000 UTClol I remember watching this episode on thanksgiving in 2016 and later when we went around listing what we were thankful for I had said that my team was going to Nationals 😭 my family very much made fun of me when they learned said team was in an anime 😔

2024-12-05 20:01:17 +0000 UTCIt's probably because Kageyama is the only one who's truly exceptional at every aspect of the game: setting, spiking, serving, receiving and blocking, all combined with super accuracy and power. In contrast, most of the other players on Karasuno are more specialized in only one specific area of the game. His decision making and game sense also play a big role i would say. For example, when they showed us how he swapped places with Hinata for the final play of the game on his own intuition.
