oh and about oikawa, because this is kind of important to the advice he gave kageyama earlier in the season. he's not exactly accommodating to the way his spikers hit, which is what kageyama interpreted. he brings out all of their potential, but he also pushes them to try things and be better by themselves, not solely accommodating to his habits, and kageyama notices that kindaichi is different now but can't figure out why because he misinterpreted a bit what Oikawa told him to solely accommodating people rather than pushing them, too. you'll see later on!

2024-09-13 21:00:09 +0000 UTCthis is one of my favorite episodes of the season actually. in the manga the translation for what the man tells mad dog is a bit different, he basically tells him the same thing but adds that a team might also be the greatest friends you'll ever have, but can cause a lot of stress. and, it makes sense, since the foundation of this seijoh team is intelligence but also their chemistry on and off the court. Yahaba calls him out because of said friendship, since he respects and likes his senpais a lot and wants them to win. Him finally fitting in with them means that he's finally understood that this is a team that actually cares about him and is rooting for him as opposed to his middle school team we see in the flashback, it's so moving. Seijoh is kind of a found family for everyone, but especially Mad Dog, the same way Karasuno is for Kageyama. can't wait for next episode!!!
