Schedule for the Week of 09/19/2022

Welcome back! There are at least two releases this week I’ve been really anticipating and they are Return to Monkey and Slime Rancher 2! I don’t know how much I’ve talked about Slime Rancher, but I got into it with my kids and wound up really enjoying it so much I even  finished up the story… at some point long ago, in the whirlpool of time that was. I’m very curious to jump back into the sequel and see what’s new. As for Monkey Island, well, I’m a big adventure game fan and I know it can be tough to pull off a modern one these days, but I’ve got my fingers crossed! We’ll be talking about Monkey Island on the podcast, and Slime Rancher 2 next week, after it’s out. For the streams this week, I’m looking to finally put the pedal down in Elden Ring, so if you want to see some late game and SPOILER-ific Elden-ing come join us! We’ll also be returning to Star Trek 25th Anniversary and Gabriel Knight towards the end of the week, which is all very adventure game-ish indeed. Of course, we’ve got the Watchcast, Ramblecast, and a Patron Q&A in addition to the podcast this week, so don’t miss those. Whew! I didn’t mention Metal Hellsinger! It’s also out!
