With combat coming soon I needed a way to unify the radial actions instead of having them all separate as switching from a whistle item to an attack item can get tedious in the middle of a fight. The combat will be very reminiscent of pikmin or overlord in that you'll have a group of kobolds following you around ready to follow any orders but if the camera is constantly rotating it can be hard to give them any. So now by default the camera no longer rotates with mouse movement unless you're holding down the right mouse button. This gives gameplay a rts feel and makes sure the camera won't make you dizzy trying to gather every last bold you fling out. There will also be a lock on feature so you don't need to constantly rotate the camera towards enemies all the time.
A 3d cursor is visible at all times so you can freely interact with bolds no matter what you're doing. When over a bold the left mouse button will pet them while being close to will pick them up. When not over anything the left mouse button will whistle and gather any idle bolds. When over enemies you will fling bolds one by one into battle or by holding left click, send your whole group running into battle.
This update may not seem too interesting being explained instead of experienced but I feel it's important to address it before hand as not having a rotating camera by default can feel very jarring and may seem like the games broken in some way if you had no idea. I hope to have a small tutorial via a floating screen you can initiate that will explain this in-game until I get a proper tutorial made for the finished game.
