my wallet hurts

Hello frens, really underestimated how long it would take to get a streaming setup up and running. Even built a whole new PC for it! Should have a new Smol Kobold Garden build out today or tomorrow along with my first stream starting later this week or so.

First thing I had to sort out was my PC. it was built on the early AM3 platform using a ryzen 5 chip. Good enough for moderate gaming and work but if I wanted to do all that while streaming I knew I needed to upgrade. The occasional freezing didn't help either. It would be a good time to upgrade though as were in early AM5, giving me a good upgrade path if I want to get new parts in the near future without having to upgrade to a whole new platform. Wanted to do a smol ITX build so I could have my PC behind my monitors but found it would limit upgrade paths too much with its small size so I settled on a mATX build.

Tried going for a ryzen 9 as it would be better for working while streaming but my budget said no. Decided not to upgrade my GPU as well since its still kicking and next year we're getting the super cards which are the same price but more VRAM so felt best to wait for those. Only need 1tb as I have a 40TB truenas build networked for storing builds, work, and linux distros.

Thought 2 monitors would be enough but even with three I feel like I'm squeezing for space. Got this huge wacom years ago when I thought I needed to be more professional. Its nice but I do regret it. I have not changed the color profiles once which is what separates the pro line from the rest. Would most likely get a 16-22 inch non pro cintiq or a movink if I were to get one today.

Got a cheapo fifine AM8 mic for the streams, sounds good enough. Stream deck plus for switching out scenes and using its knobs as a mixer for stream audio. Tourbox elite, very pricey for what it is but anything that helps speedup my workflows is a godsend rn. Logitech keyboard and mouse nothing too special. Sennheiser HD 600 going into a fiio e10k still going strong and the oldest thing in this pic is probably my trusty spacemouse. Can't look at blender without it.

Will be multi-streaming to Twitch and Youtube at the same time. Youtube will show a combined chat but twitch will only have twitch chat on screen as per weird rules. Still need a bit more time to finish graphics and figure out how to route audio and OBS but it's all coming together.

Can't wait to stream to 3 people lol.
