Ahhhhhh I love that actually haha. Maybe I'll start calling Psy "42" instead (I'm sure that would confuse everyone watching 😭😂😂)

I am watching your reaction rn and it seemed like you didn’t understand the ‘psy’ joke THE NEW SIX made😭 psy is pronounced ‘sai’ and if you split it it’s ‘sa’ and ‘i’ 😅
‘sa’ in Korean means 4 so since the boys were ranked 4th for everything, they got kinda annoyed with the number 4 and questioned why everything is 4😭(tbh I hate seeing that number too)
So that is why Hyunsoo jokingly answered “it’s because our CEO is Psy”😭
And since ‘i’ in Korean means 2, Sungjun then jokingly said “to make it complete we have to place 2nd then”
Sa (4)+ i (2) = psy 😭
Im sorry if it’s not more funny now that I’ve explained it but it was funny to me back then 😭

Hey Marco, I’m new here💖 it has nothing to do with road to kingdom but I was wondering if you could react to „the new? Things!“ it’s a 12 ep funny variety show content from THE NEW SIX. I would be so happy if you react to those🙏💖 also THE NEW SIX have released a documentary series about their process in Road to kingdom. Could you please react to that too?💖🦋

Turns out Younite’s other leader Eunho is good friends with Heeseung, and he reached out to Heeseung for song recommendations. Heeseung recommended Bit Me to Eunho. I loved their performance but I like Enhypen’s better.

Is this the other survival show in the works? I think it's called Project7 ??

By the way, this has nothing to do with Road to Kingdom but I needed you to know this. Doha from Boys Planet will join another show. This actually made my day because I know how desperate he is to debut.

Thanks, I am just putting my thoughts down while watching your video and answering your questions. I just like to share my knowledge and need to get those things out of my head.
Road to Kingdom will now be a stand alone show, that is also why they rebranded most of the elements on the show (apart from the name, probably because of the succes the first edition got). The winner of the show to my knowledge only gets a chance to perform at an end of the year special stage and a budget of 500.000 dollars to promote their next comeback. I am not sure if they are able to join Kingdom after that (there has also been no Road to Queendom so i think they didn't feel like doing that anymore).
I already thought 8TURN was holding back, because they were hitting the choreo very well, but the rest felt a bit rushed when making the concept.
I think the Bite Me version of Younite will probably be out one of these days, unless HYBE would stop them from releasing it.

Boosters are basically support for each round. The team(s) that reaches 100%, will be awarded this support but on a first come first serve basis.
Boosters collected at each round will not be carried forward to the next round. This round is closing on Oct 11.
I am collecting some to help out. It can be tedious since you will be required to watch ads to get more boosters.
It is not imperative that you collect it at this round. The collection has been on going since the start of the show and some teams collected 70% booster support.
I would suggest to check the Mnet page out if you are still interested.

Thank you Candy! Are you collecting boosters by any chance? Is it imperative I do that to help these groups win?

Always appreciate your input Sven!! In what way is this series no longer a part of Kingdom? They share the same title and format as the previous two. I don’t expect every "season" to be the exact same of course lol, but I don’t see why this doesn't belong to the previous two Kingdoms we've gotten...especially since I've read the trades describe this as the "part 2" or "new season" of the first Road to Kingdom. Genuine question.
Dey DOES remind me of Hyunsuk YES! I feel like that’s why I'm so drawn to him? And thank you for agreeing that Sion reminds you of Q haha. Just dawned on me now. Won't be hard to forget his name now haha.
I agree with your ranking! 8TURN felt like they approached their performance a little too soft...considering how hard they can go. It felt held back.
I do hope they release the YOUNITE version of Bite Me!! But something tells me they would have done that already lol.

About TNX vs. Tempest, I have some strong opinions. I think the way TNX went about it was very performance oriented, and really had what the other idols were saying: excellent stage directing. Eunhwi also knows their strengths and skills like the back of his hand and did some fantastic utilization of their singing and rapping. The fact they did a song without original choreography or one that's been performed yet means they can 'paint' this song as their own. It was a smart choice and amazing artistic direction. I genuinely have nothing that annoyed me besides maybe them lip-syncing. There was always something happening, from the bed, to the butterfly climb, to the mirror dance, and shadow dancers, then the wave and throne. They filled every second with something that naturally flowed and it was just a good song and remix to begin with. Tempest's performance felt more like an MCountdown stage. I feel like the remix of the song wasn't that good to begin with, as there wasn't that many high or lows in the instrumental. Dancing a lot of the original choreo also makes it easier to compare them to Stray Kids or other groups who have covered the song. It just felt like they weren't able to make the song theirs. It might be because they're still finding the balance and harmony in their group since their main rapper and one of their main dancers Hwarang was kicked out. But I know there's still time for them to come back stronger next round.

Only Maniac and Phobia have been released up until this point.

This Road to Kingdom series isn’t related to Kingdom anymore, maybe they want to make it longer or have shorter episodes because other shows need to start soon. I think they might be adding more rounds to the show and that’s why they are keeping it shorter.
I think TNX doing Phobia was the best choice they could have made. It is a song that Stray kids themselves have never performed, so there is nothing to compare it to, they can make it their own way easier. Tempest on the other hand had to compete with the fast, powerful rapping and the deep voice of Felix (which can work if you were like Leedo, I also thought Taerae was a better fit than LEW for the deep vocal). But I think Tempest really needed to choose something that fitted their style a bit more so they could have shined more. It is hard to beat Stray Kids because they made their own lane in K-pop with weird genres not everyone understands to the core. Maniac is not just about portraying being a maniac, it is also being different from other people and the expectations society has of you. You need to fully commit to portraying that feeling. I feel like they lacked that a bit. Also, they said they needed to “beat the performance of TNX of Maniac” but that was a half cover. They needed to beat or at least match the real Maniac performance. Like you said, they weren’t bad, but this show isn’t just a performance show. This show should be treated like you would going to MAMA. So doing a “cover” of Maniac isn’t quite enough. The same goes for the other battle, the only difference is that Younite matched (maybe even outdid) the original of “Bite Me”. They just decided to go a different route in the song.
My personal ranking is as following for episode 2:
1. Younite (really dope storyline)
2. TNX (The arrangement was really dope, Hwi's rap was amazing)
3. TEMPEST (Really good performance, but that's it)
4. 8TURN (They didn't sell it for me, although the performance was pretty good and their dancing is amazing)
I don't know why 8TURN are in last because it was pretty much in their own lane. They just sticked a bit too much to the original i feel like which makes me compare it to the groups own performance of the song. They did amazing in the first round BTW I could be convinced they were better than TEMPEST.
Also, Sion indeed looks like Q, but I think DEY looks like Hyunsuk
Something I would consider very important these days to make it as a K-POP group is having at least 1 member who can produce and another member that has good storytelling abilities, because those people can visualize how the song needs to sound to make it your own and if you write a story the performance will play out way better. This is also the reason why the Younite and TNX performances left an impression on me, while the others didn’t as much.
And lastly, there is a reason why Eunsang was X member in X1 (like in Boys Planet, Produce made groups with 11 members, apart from IZ*ONE, but that were the top 11 members. Eunsang was actually number 13 but he got to debut because he placed highest among all voting rounds in that show.) I didn’t really notice him back then, I DO NOTICE HIM NOW, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE BEAST HE IS

The Mnet plus app is for collecting boosters to support the team. You will need to create an account in Mnet and collect boosters to support a team.
For this episode, they are counting the views until Sept 28 11:59 kst for the videos at the Mnet kpop YouTube channel. There are different videos for each team they are only counting the ones with full ver. On the title.
I assume they will do something similar for the next round of performances.
For the music track for the Stray Kids VS battle, it is released in all platforms. They only released only the tracks which has the agreement with the original author.
