Some people think so (and right now I hope so) 🙈 basically, some people think the Must be Nice MV and the Rush in 2 U music videos are connected, and that the role they play in the Must be Nice MV will affect their role in the lore. There are a bunch of theories about which member is who in Greek mythology based of off the Must be Nice MV and how their future videos might play on that. Our hope for the comeback is that since Jay is the sniper in the MV, he might be missing from the poster because the photos are pictures of everyone he has been told to get rid of for some reason. Not the most solid theory, but a theory nonetheless. As for the Rush in 2 you MV, at the end Jongwoo looks back after picking up the letter and the street is empty, so people think that is a nod to Orpheus and Eurydice. Jongwoo has also revealed that the MV is the story about Jay joining the group. Therefore he might play a special role in their lore (if there really is one).

To be fair a lot of us (based on their lack of involvement and promo of Build Up) believe that Armada was never the ones to send him on the show in the first place, and that it was FM Ent (the company that still controls his solo schedules). Mnet has a lot of power and clearly lied when they said they would make sure BDU wouldn’t interfere with the members other group, so while I definitely have my other issues with Armada, this seems like a last minute option for one pact after realizing the BDU debut would not be moved to fit their schedule. One Pact can’t wait forever to release something new. I do still have a small hope he might be in it though, and that the poster is a part of their lore, but yeah.. definitely an awful situation all around.

2024-05-12 13:01:08 +0000 UTCI just saw! I'm disappointed about Jay potentially not being involved. Why do Build Up if it cuts through the activities of a group he's already in? What was the point of doing a survival show? Why does he need to debut twice in 2 separate groups within 7 months? 😭😭😭

2024-05-12 13:00:39 +0000 UTCYay!! Thank you so much!!! And in case you missed it, THEY ANNOUNCED THEIR COMEBACK YESTERDAY!! PARADOXX IS COMING! It’s a single album (so I guess 3 songs) and there will be another pre-release MV (31st May) directed and edited by Jongwoo before the official comeback on June 7th!! Unfortunately it seems like it might be without Jay😭 (his photo is not featured on the debut announcement post) as he is too busy preparing for the debut of BDU, but we’ll know more when the group concept photos drop. I still have hope Jay is a part of the comeback, and I’ve been desperate for new music from them, and I’m so excited to see what Tag has made for us! Hope to see you follow their comeback🥳
