Dani stated that she knew it was wrong to mate with Sachi. Even with the previous emperors who had also had affairs, but they actually had built up a support system. Dani did not- she knew the risks she was taking, and thought that all she had to do was say “I’m the empress” and it would be settled. We’ve discussed this a LOT in the discord and have seen it from lots of sides. Dani and Heri Sarabi *might* have been fine if Dani had already given birth to Javed’s cub first, or had contacted Aram about Thiqa, or several other things BUT the fact of the matter is, that she didn’t. Therefore, Dani is partially responsible for what happened to her subjects, regardless of who issued the order.
