Also, please don't stop with this segment, it's very funny and informative. The only thing I would say is to post asap on YouTube instead of giving us early access, this way you guarantee fresher news and prevent future problems like that.

Camila

I'm so sorry that you had to apologise for that! Please, don't mind the sour people that still want to hold a grudge over it, specially if they say you're not deserving of the "VIP" title anymore. Everyone is entitled to your own opinion and every fan should think about more than their love for their faves, specially in delicate situations like that.

Camila

I hope you will keep sharing your opinion, i mean honest opinion, bc this is what I enjoy the most, your points of views and discussions!

Zukhra Talmanova

OMG, guys, stop being so sorry for what you said, it was alright and honest! Nothing special happened, seungri really is responsible, but you never blamed him, you said nothing wrong! There is nothing to apologize for! Fans just hate when people say disappointing things about who they love, even though it is a truth. Don't want you to feel unmotivated or bad, please, cheer up and forget about them! You are the best k-pop news channel! Love you

Zukhra Talmanova

I'm glad you guys are taking the risks to talk about real things in the K-music scene and not just the fluff. If Jay had stopped talking he would have been fine. I think dreadlocks are fine, but faux afro perms are kinda bizzare. Keep up the good work!

The star of this show is Danny’s new tat

I can't be a monthly Patron, but I just sent a small one-time donation to thank you for your DKDKTV news segments on youtube. You took some heat for the recent Seungri thing, but in my view, you had nothing to apologize for. Please don't get discouraged.

I’m with you on the dreadlock debate, Danny. My take on it is exactly how you presented it. There should be focused efforts from people irrespective of the race they belong to stop a practice that is clearly discriminatory. Here this discriminatory practice being stopping black people from expressing their culture at the workplace, school or anywhere, period. But this should go both ways. The key issue should be to highlight this problem and exert pressure on the agencies that hold the power to sustain such ridiculous methods of oppression. And the pressure should be exerted by everyone. If you’re someone who doesn’t belong to the black community but enjoys their culture, it is important for you to be equally open and active in supporting them in places where they are unjustly treated. Honestly, what anyone should do is support a thought/movement that is trying to destroy cultural and historical practices that are without any question causing harm to the prosperity of any individual.

Are terrible ‘digging deep into k-pop’ jokes the official opener now? Say yes!

Erwin Blonk

yeah definitely the N word and black face are blatant racism that should be eradicated and educated about. whereas the dreadlocks issue is, somewhat unknown to the mass that it stems from the black community and has a sad history. it is very tricky afterall and very hard to take sides on, but nevertheless thanks for supporting us Deco it really ggives us strength to keep on addressing about these issues. and yes, jay kinda messed up by doing too much talking lol

DKDKTV

Danny got himself a UN speech. Mel hope you support him again in the actual comment sections.. lol

DKDKTV

yeah, i know its a very general logic, but at the end i think every kind of conflict or issue can be solved in this way. plus i didnt want to speak in detail about this particular issue because im not educated enough nor included in the actual ethnicity

DKDKTV

of course i agree. the head always holds some sort of responsiblity. i as a big fan too have mixed feelings and hopes everything goes well

DKDKTV

sueng ri lol

DKDKTV

I'm a fan of Danny's UN Speech here. We are all one human race.

Oooh I'm with David on the dreadlocks thing (although look how WHITE I am, you don't need to listen to me) --- but I think he put it very nicely with the idea of taking a step back to respect the pain of others. And you don't need to take a poll to make sure that enough people are being hurt before you change your ways. :P

Amy Brown

I feel like he should be held responsible because he was the head of the club. The captain goes down with the ship. He absolutely knew what was going on in his own club. They always do. I'm a huge fan of his and of his group BIG BANG but it doesn't mean I'm not realistic.

Esther Morales

For the Club story are you pronouncing his name as "Sueee-ng-me"??

Esther Morales

I personally don’t really care about how someone else styles their hair too much but low key I think dreads don’t really look to good on people not of African decent. Main reason is because it’s meant to be a protective style for thick, coarse, kinky, curly hair and when you have naturally bone straight hair it doesn’t really look right (to me). I agree with y’all, For Jay Park where he went wrong is his comparisons and that really added fuel to a fire that would have went out much earlier. 💀💀💀 actually for a lot of people who got called out for similar things they always end up making it worse when they open their mouth without thinking. There has been a lot of conversation about kpop and black culture but the only things that really bother me are people saying the N word, black face and people wanting to “be” black (there’s a word for this that’s similar to Koreaboo) but hair is not something that’ll trigger me personally
