Good stuff as usual. About the tent thing, I agree with the idea of not allowing tent use overnight for various reasons -- backpackers and parties tend to take advantage and not be respectful about litter and noise. The idea of not allowing closed tents during the day is pretty obviously about, as you say, preventing sexual activity. Ironically it forces the sexual activity into the open rather than allowing people to have some privacy. As you say, kids are not going to stop having sex. Although that's not a Korea problem -- it's not like the rest of the world is working hard to provide kids with places for sex. You just wait until your parents are out... Or I guess Americans do it in cars. π€·π»ββοΈ I think the teen sex/birth rate relationship is a red herring -- I don't think we want kids who have sex in parks to be responsible for raising the next generation of little Koreans. What you need to do is make it a little easier for adults to have babies, which is a whole different set of policy decisions. Interesting that the police messaging around this is about protecting the park rather than the actual issue -- why are they avoiding talking about what the policy is actually for? It's always just as interesting to think about what people don't say as what they do say. Anyway, good work as always. μκ³ νμ ¨μ΅λλ€ β€οΈ
