Miniature Subscription - Plastic Preview
Added 2018-11-30 16:00:03 +0000 UTCLittle preview of what my FDM printer can do! I did not sculpt the lovely elf in the first picture. Also, the white dragonborn was printed in two pieces, hence the seam. I did it just to see if it would line up properly. I don't intend to do future prints like that.

2018-11-30 17:25:53 +0000 UTCSurprisingly no. My bathroom has a REALLY strong fan for the shower heat, so it sucks the vapors right out. (I have my printer under the bathroom sink)

2018-11-30 17:24:21 +0000 UTCI would be extremely proud/humble bragging if they were 28mm ... and possibly magic haha

2018-11-30 17:21:44 +0000 UTCAh, thought those were 28mm. Makes much more sense.

2018-11-30 17:17:12 +0000 UTCYeah the resin printer smell can build up! FDM prints can be beautiful, just gotta print 75mm and up!

2018-11-30 17:16:42 +0000 UTCThe odor of the resin printer is getting noticable. I'm considering buying an Ozone maker to deal with it but gotta research more about the health risks of that and if it'll be okay in a basement. Those FDM prints are surprisingly good. The resin I know is better but most minis I've seen printed on a fdm look pretty bad.

2018-11-30 17:03:16 +0000 UTCis the oder an issue at all for you?
Rico R Reyna
2018-11-30 16:46:46 +0000 UTCWoo! I definitely plan to offer both then :) You know, it isn't bad at all in my opinion. Maybe I'll make a YouTube video explaining how I do it? For me it is 15 minutes TOPS to post-process resin.

2018-11-30 16:42:29 +0000 UTCbut i also know the hassle the comes with processing a resin print! but that detail though...........

2018-11-30 16:39:58 +0000 UTCoh so you decide to do both?! also if you do 2 price teirs like fdm and resin or 2 big figs and 4 little figs or whatever i think people would dig it! you do great work and people live options!

2018-11-30 16:39:04 +0000 UTCI love your comment! <3 Neither subscription will be strictly FDM or resin. Depending on what model they want, I may do resin prints up to 75mm! :)

2018-11-30 16:34:40 +0000 UTCI think the FDM print subscription should be much lower then the resin sub, since there is a huge cost difference between the materials not mention fdm is much lower in detail. but thats just an opinion lol "You do you boo boo!"
