You quiz is fun but with some great interviews as well. Also would like to see you dive into Jungkook some more. I know I say this a lot but I feel like he’s the one who you don’t really understand. Like when your surprised he’s funny, or that he’s really sensitive, but also has a deep love for army. He such an interesting guy. We know he shines on stage but he he has a quiet shine off stage. Ida S On YouTube always does amazing videos of him. She has one called Jungkook the Main vocalist and Jungkook the Golden Maknae.

Good thing they have ARMYs, that refuse to let BTS get ignored<3

At the time, a group from a Big 3 Company could get their first win with their debut song, since Big 3 Companies had the funds to push and promote them. BTS was from a small company on its last leg, and I Need U was their FIRST win almost 3 years into their career. As people mentioned, Bighit was severely lacking in funds at this point and this win saved them from needing to disband all together. Given that reality, Bighit did not have the money to do Saejegi. Their sales mostly came from international fans, not Korean fans, since they didn't have the funds or connections for media exposure inside the country, which is why accusations were so rampant. Koreans truly didn't know much about them at this point, so I can understand why seeing them win against a big group was confusing. Many people don't know Bighit/BTS actually went to court for this Saejegi accusation and won the case. So it is pretty concrete that it was a false accusation, and like you mentioned, potentially brought on by Big 3 Companies as they saw BTS start rising with unconventional methods, aka true fan loyalty and good music :)

His voice is really captivating And his dance is really mesmerizing to me. But the thing I love the most is his emotional intelligence. Everyday I find something about jimin that moves me. He can take a look at someone’s face and feel them and connect with them. All of the members at some point said how much comfort jimin gave them. He is an angel.

I need you was a turning point in their career. Until then, they were getting rookie awards but with I need you they started to win on big platforms. I believe Their journey is really inspiring to me. Started so low and became the biggest group in the world. They faced so much together. I think that’s also why they are super close. When you go through hardships together and rely on each other, you build a special bond. When they were accused of chart manipulation, their company released statement that they don’t have any resources to do that. They really don’t have any funds at this point to pay off anyone. People just wanted to down regard them bc it’s the first time someone from outside big three got a win.

2022-10-20 13:58:43 +0000 UTCWe're all just wishing the best for all of them, it's hard not to worry but they're incredibly resilient and as they've said the best is yet to come. Now there's plenty of time to catch up on the back log of content and it makes going through the journey of BTS with you more special. It also just occured to me that you've been a fan of theirs for longer than me lol. Been looking forward to getting into HYYH era, something about this era is just extra special. I've seen those clips of them winning first place before but it hit even harder in this format, especially seeing jimin cry. It's interesting how when one of the members is emotional jimin is always the first to comfort them and they go to him for comfort but when he's emotional he wants to isolate himself. And yes I am completely biased but jimin is the absolute sweetest, I've never known anyone like him. I think the aegyo is only cringe when they're embarrassed to do it but the times when they take it seriously and aren't ashamed are so funny. They definitely had to do a lot of uncomfortable things on talk shows around this time but it's kind of just part of the kpop culture. Thanks for another great two hours and I hope you do end up doing an uncut for the flying yoga episodes, they were so care free and having so much fun, we love to see it!

Yoongi even talked about how he was writing I Need U with the mindset of it being their last song. I Need U literally saved them, ROB doesn't really focus on the negative parts of their career or their hardships too much, so it's hard to see the big picture.
