Horoscope series .Virgo. (term 41)
Added 2016-09-20 23:37:49 +0000 UTCThis piece gave me some trouble XD honestly Virgo was not as easy as the other horoscopes to visualize. I mostly referenced this design based on the icon of the winged angel lady holding some short of small plant. Also taking into account that Virgo is the "earth element" and it's colors where White, Yellow, beige and Green. All in all, I'm happy with the outcome, took me many iterations thou, was a little frustrated while working on this piece >.<;; so that's why I have not updated till now, wanted to make sure I was happy with this piece ! but I'll be posting more now that I'm back from the conventions this month ^__^ ! thanks you everyone for the support ~

2016-09-21 04:37:00 +0000 UTCThis painting looks so pretty. Virgo does seem like a difficult one to visualize. Most of the other horoscopes feel like they have relatively easier interpretations. But I think you were able to come up with a really cool looking rendition of it. Her look is just captivating. The long flowing hair is fantastic; such great detail on the strands. I love the crown of leaves as well as the vines wrapping around the two strands. The colors you used look so good. The details on the environment is amazing. I really love the textures on the leaves and the branches. I think the amount of effort you put into this piece was worth it. It came out beautifully.

This piece is gorgeous, the colours are beautiful, the verdant greens, the way the branches transition from brown to white, the blonde tones of her hair and beige dress and her wonderfully textured skin. The hair is fantastic with tremendous detail and flow to the many strands, i particularly like the leaves among her braids and for similar reasons to the hair, the dress too is wonderful 😀, especially with how many folds wrap over the branch. I really like the branch that wraps around her torso, pressed against her breast with her delicate fingers upon it. And of course her face is beautiful, particularly with how you painted the lighting, highlighting her edges. Brilliant work as usual 😄, looking forward to more 💜.
