Quiet Patreon live stream mid-week.

A little extra live stream before the main one at the weekend.

This one may just be one or two hours long to see if shorter is sweeter.  Sometimes I think the 3 hour plus streams are probably too long.

I found some good multi-angle close up pictures online. Interesting addition of the fluorescent acrylic into the tubes for a bit of colour.

Big Clive

It was great midweek chat. It was very wide range of topics like Blake's 7 orac (if Clive would like some pictures of the 3 of them made I can pass them on)

Here is a link to the DJ show I did tonight with some requests from the chat. It is hosted on Mediafire so will only stay up for about 2 weeks. https://www.mediafire.com/file/21tlv5g9i84r1ek/2021-01-28Thursday.mp3/file

Nuts 'n' Proud

I could swear I set a reminder for this.. oh well, maybe next time.

Greg

Oh come on Patreon, I no longer receive notification and been missing all the Patreon live :(

Manoel

I wish I could have made it. Stuff to do. :(

Michael Thompson

I really do enjoy these midweek talks.

You just have to tolerate incompetent colleagues if they are not willing to learn by gentle persuasion. If it gets too frustrating it's sometimes better to move on.

Big Clive

The colour temperature would be too far to the red end

Looking forward to the stream! I've got a question this week: Is there any reason the capacitor-in-series trick from the Dooby lamp video wouldn't work in the same way for incandescent lamps? The only difference I can think of is the dramatically larger power usage so I'd assume a far larger capacitor would be needed.

I will probably be away with the fairies by the time the stream starts, but will watch it tomorrow. A question for you though... What is your coping mechanism for dealing with incompetent colleagues?

Stephen Pettitt

I tended to drop in and out but found myself hanging around longer each stream. Its the charm and charisma 🤦‍♂️ seriously it can get entertaining. 2x👍

DC Allan

Oops is it Thursday it has been a hectic week I need to holiday 😃

N. Shaun Tremayne

Have I missed the stream anyone?

N. Shaun Tremayne

Longer the better but understand hope you enjoy live chats

N. Shaun Tremayne

I prefer these. The weekend streams are usually too busy for me to cope with the chat. A few people could do with personal slow mode filters! :)

Mark Gray

I do enjoy these chats. They are more calmer, less hectic and more intimate.

Looking forward to this working a week on and a week off at the moment so I don't have to go to bed early

Fantastic, I find the Saturday streams fun but it's always nice to have some private time. Any time you can spare is great, no need to work to a fixed length. Just need to get the drinks in faster!

Matt Tester

I do as well but it is pure selfishnes

Michael Thompson

I like these, but usually can't stay for more than an hour as I have work again the next day :-( Mainland Europe is an hour later after all

Paul Slootman

Looking forward to it also. I left last Saturday's one after finding it too grim with all the spy cam discussions. I enjoyed watching the rest on catchup once I skipped the first hour.

Seán Byrne

Thanks for sharing your time with us to relax and learn 👍 it’s up to you, but I add to the ‘more please’ camp 🧲

Cerity

I prefer these. Thanks Clive

Wim

I also really like your chats Clive. You choose how long they gonna be. longer the better for me personally. Thanx for all your efforts entertaining us.

Really enjoy these - and tend to be more technical

RDM

I love these ones just have to find time to attend. Thanks Clive!

Mark Hazlewood

Hope to attend -really need too this week bad times

Michael Thompson

I really quite like these mid week ones. The chat although still busy is a bit calmer.
