Doctorska Sausage vs 240v

I wonder if giving the fork tines a twist (like a corkscrew) would help them stay put?

Mike Page

Lowering the voltage will lower the current; resistance being equal i=v/r

Michael Gilchrest

Perhaps a new electrode design is needed. Maybe put food between two metal plates for max contact area? 15 second burgers. lol

For hotdogs and other processed meats, we always say they're made of "beaks and assholes". Yum. The initial surge always seems to blow the electrodes mostly clear in a few seconds, then you get the arcing and burning and no more real generation of heat through the rest of the meatlike substance. It's almost like you need a current-controlled supply - say, 1A? - to gently heat these things through in a more controlled manner. Might be interesting. Of course, AC makes that current-controlled source a little trickier.

Doctor Sausage and Nurse Electricity. Sounds like a perfectly cromulent and legit operation. I can't wait to schedule my "exam"

Blap

Oh no I knew he would eventually pull his sosage out and zap it 🤣

Perhaps try using a rectifier (or several, as needed) to cut the average power long enough to cook it some before it catches on fire.

Mike Cowen

Would that fit into the hotdogger long-wise? I don’t think you could put the lid on however.

Lostngone

Stick it across a welder! ⚡️

Maybe long copper electrodes would work better than forks for longevity.

It's not lips n arseholes, it's old labias n foreskins. We have one similar in Australia, WA we call it polony, eastern states call it different things. We used to have one called Mortadella, like a smoky flavour. Takes me back to my childhood, Polony n sauce samiches. Still have it every now and then

Looks similar to Bologna here the states

Next time you should try eating it with some mayonez.

Would spoons perhaps make better electrodes?

For a treat that can’t be beat, let’s watch Big Clive and his meat!

😃😃

Will salty sausages do better? 😃

Mike Weijmans

Looks a lot like lyoner sausage here, which I quite like in sandwiches.
