New Patch for Guardians - 4 scenes and more to come

• Updated Game Engine: Faster transitions time and reduced the amount of calls to the server.
• You may now equip jewels once you receive the Viridian Diamond, which
will grant you special abilities (two jewels included for now).
• A new Guardian has arrived! She only has 4 scenes for now, but they include M/F, M/M and F/F. More to come soon.
Author’s Notes:
I thought I could push this update a bit sooner, but modifications to
the game engine have slowed things a wee bit. Furthermore, I spent some
time on a new projects (Codename: Wonderbirds, you can test it here (http://wonderbirds.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com),
which delayed my writings. Things is: programming is very
time-intensive compared to writing scenes. On that subject, I believe I
will add more diversified actions from now on; scenes for one guardian
won’t mean they only included him or her (Rashona and Themba scenes is a
good exemple of where I’m going with this).

Yeah, it looks like it was just my laptop acting up last night. It doesn't usually give me that kind of delay so I wasn't sure if it was the game or not. So, out of curiosity, do you intend to go back and add in some of these intercrossed scenes to the other Guardians, or is the plan to add more of this variety to the later stages?

I'm tired of simple 1v1 scenes and I will find ways to spice things up in the next releases. ----- The new update introduces a few more checks but shouldn't have any big effects on fight gameplay. However the Momentum Bar is really tricky (it's basically a GSAP tween) and will be only as smooth as the computer power supporting it. I wish I could provide support, but it's basically up to your browser/Javascript.

2016-09-19 11:32:38 +0000 UTCLove the new scene Rashona offers with Themba, though you already know I'd been hoping for the opportunity to top him, heh. I approve of these kinds of scenes. It adds some spice and variety. A quick note... I'm going to try on another computer later, but I'm getting some delays during the fights that weren't previously there. The game seems to slow down just as the widget gets closer to the red mark. I'll check if it's just my computer.
